Critics of her work note that her individuality and randomness comes from her isolating herself as a woman. She divide herself from the world, only allowing a few visitors once in a while, where she would focus on her poetry and write continuously. Her poems baffle readers; sometimes they are hard to understand, it is as if she makes up her own words or her own meanings to words. People are intrigued by this though; she is unique, an individual.
Dickinson did have some work published when she was alive, but practically more has been published since she has pasted away. She is looked at by galore(postnominal) thought processers as one of our greatest poets, and in the view of some, one of the greatest lyric poets of all time. Dickinson is fascinating; it took a lot of guts and heart to look outside of the quoin and to do something different.
