Julius Caesar was involved in many kinds of relationships. When Cornelia, his first wife, died, he was actually mournful at her deathbed. However, he took control of his emotion and on the day of her funeral, he used the funeral speech to his own usefulness as a way to tell the Romans that he would stupefy Rome a powerful empire.



We can see that Caesar was very intelligent in every move he do and he was persuasive with his words when he took that time to cope with supporters and made himself appealing to the citizens. He was also very breakaway because he did not rely on anyone to win the realitys attention whereas Pompey depended on Sulla for popularity.
Similarly, when he accredited the news that his daughter and grandson died, he was deeply hurt, but he didnt keep his feelings from pulling him down.
