Scientific Method in Everyday Life
Scenario 1:Â You arrive kinsperson late at night. You walk up to the front door, unlock it, and reach in to turn on the free throw located just inside the front door. The fallible does non scram on! Now what?
The scientific method acting is a process for experimentation that is mapd to explore observations and answer questions. Scientists use the scientific method to search for cause and effect relationships in nature (Science Buddies, 2012).
According to the scientific method the first beat would be to state the problem. The problem is obviously that the light allow for non turn on. The second mensuration of the scientific method would be to make observations about the past statement. It was observed that by performing the action of turning on the light set up; the light did not turn on. The third tint of the scientific method would be to state a guesswork. The light did not come on by flicking the switch in the on coiffure due to a power outage. The fourth step of the scientific method would be to test the hypothesis, which is also cognise as the experiment. To test if there is a power outage I would snap off the power in the other rooms of the house.
The twenty percent step of the scientific method would be to analyze the information from the experiment. The power throughout the house except the one light is functioning properly. Since my hypothesis came out to be false I will then come up with a cutting hypothesis and retest the hypothesis.
My second hypothesis is the light did not come on by flicking the switch in the on position due to a light bulb failure. To test this hypothesis I will need to acquire a step ladder and a new light bulb from my pantry. I will make sure that the light switch is in the off position while changing the bulb for guard precautions.
