Creative Story: Writing to describe, air on from the novel (Skellig)
When I left that day, I never knew what was out there in the changed world; as I was enclosed in the world of the dark for so long.
As I glided across the starlit sky, I thought simply about what destination I would land upon next. I hoped that I would non turn into the hostile wight I was once before. I then felt something change within me as I noticed the fresh breeze tickle my cheek, and the clouds touch my fingers breadth tips.
Then I looked use up and apothegm something that was something different, something new, something from another world. I then knew I had found an improved outlook from that obsolete garage, instead of tea chests, darkness and cobwebs; brighter, clearer and more perfect.
I swooped down and landed in what seemed to be a forest, the aroma of the moss and counterfeit that surrounded me filled my nostrils, something behind me snapped I turned around and what I saw next blew my mind; it felt as if someone had punched me in the stomach .
As what I saw was a young foal but on the foal were a pair of small crumpled wings just like mine had been when mina took my jacket off.
The frail creatures eyes slowly began to open, I sta violent, those small red eyes sparkled in the moonlight, and they glowed so bright and twinkled like a ruby.
It looked so delicate but powerful, I carried on staring. When curtly I felt as if I was shrinking, falling as those eyes burnt within me, I screamed. My head began to whirl, I crashed to the ground.
Neigghhhhhhh.
The foal awoke me; the scream blasted my ear drums, he was being attacked by a black silhouette. I rapidly leaped to my feet I lost control of my body, I did attempt to save him, I did, but I didnt make it. They were gone…
