The day was finally here. It was November 11, 1990, the day that our family was to go to ¡®Land Of Liberty.¡¯ I heard so more different things about this atomic number 18a called United States of America and I was warned that it would be nothing you¡¯ve expected. I lived in urban part of Korea all my 9 years of life and I was never aware that at that place could be any place as empty as I was now. I was a bit relieved when we reached our 2 floors, 6 rooms house in Northbrook. It was like a rook to me. My father told me that this house cost as much as the little 1 bathroom, 3 rooms flat we had in Korea. As I was getting use to the castle we have just bought, the emptiness filled my heart again. I looked outside and saw houses across the street. For a week, I thought those houses were stores. Living in Korea, everywhere you look out, there are myriad number of stores everywhere.
